TROMBONE SLIDE CLEANING ROD

The cleaning rod is a practical tool for cleaning the inside of the outer slide tubes. Attach a small piece of absorbent cloth through the slot at one end of the rod, insert the rod all the way into the slide tube, then firmly hold the slide section, slowing twisting and pulling up on the rod. Please do not use a piece of cloth that is too large that it could become stuck inside the slide. Should that ever happen, bring the slide section to our repair shop, and we will remove the cleaning rod without affecting the slide alignment.
