We provide clean rental return instrument outfits that are fully equipped and ready to play.
They are brand-name products. Some may not be shiny, but they play well and sound great.
We offer rental instruments at a lower monthly cost by servicing and repairing them in-house.

Due to high demand, we suggest contacting our order desk as soon as possible.
COMPLETE and SUBMIT the “RENTAL INSTRUMENT REQUEST FORM.”
A staff member will quickly reply with payment/pickup/delivery information.

“At first, I was skeptical when I was informed the rentals are used instruments. However, the girl in the office was very upfront about the appearance of some of the instruments. She assured me they were meticulously maintained and cleaned between renters. She called them “cosmetically challenged” but played wonderfully. Just because something is shiny and new doesn’t make it better. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that way of thinking is a great message to pass along to our children.”
FAQ’s
Instrument return responsibility?
When the contract ends, the renter, not the school, is responsible for returning the instrument to our store location during our normal working hours.
Do you deliver?
Yes, to certain schools during the school year. At checkout, choose your best option.
During the school year, our school representatives deliver to specific schools. If your school is within our designated route, at check out, choose “School Delivery.” A $10 fee applies.
When checking out, under the “Ship To Different Address” section, please enter your school name under “First Name” and type “School” under the “Last Name.” Fill in the “Street Address,” “Town,” and “Postal Code” with the school credentials. This information is necessary to ensure proper delivery.
If your school is not part of our route, the option will not show. Choose “Store Pickup.”
What about liability insurance?
The monthly rental fee includes limited insurance. In addition, each rental instrument has a declared replacement value shown in the description. The renter is responsible for this declared value. Musicare will accept normal wear & tear but not out-of-school loss or negligent damage.
Covered:
At-school coverage includes loss, theft and damage beyond repair.
Not Covered:
At-home coverage is through your standard house insurance. Again, we recommend advising your agent.
Family vehicle coverage is through your standard auto insurance policy.
Negligence: The insurance does not cover misplacing the instrument on a school or city bus, other vehicle or location; or not using the equipment as intended.
The insurance does not cover recklessness or abuse.
Musicare has the sole right to determine negligence or normal wear and tear.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, either in-store or through the online checkbox “Terms & Conditions” at check out.
What about a short term special event rental?
We offer special short-term Community Events or Solo Performance rentals. Please call our service counter for details.
